Nui Phao Mining (NPMC): “Corporate Excellence in Thai Nguyen 2021”

On the 17th anniversary of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (13/10/2004 - 13/10/2021), in the afternoon of October 12th, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor “Corporate Excellence”, “Outstanding entrepreneur” of Thai Nguyen province in 2021, to recognize and praise for the significant contribution of the entrepreneurs, enterprises for the production and business activities. At the ceremony, Nui Phao Mining Company Limited (subsidiary of Masan High-Tech Materials) was honored with the title “Corporate Excellence in Thai Nguyen 2021”.

Along with the presence of Nui Phao Mining Company (Nui Phao Mining), there are other big groups and companies in Thai Nguyen province in top 30 excellent enterprises of Thai Nguyen province. The event is aimed at recognizing the achievement and contributions of enterprises in the context of unpredictable situation of COVID-19, disrupting the socio-economic development activities of most of provinces nationwide, including Thai Nguyen province.

To be proud of being one of the most efficient Tungsten processing plant all over the world, Nui Phao Mining is operating a state-of-the-art processing plant to produce its typical products. Investment in research and development continues to deliver processing, equipment, and chemical improvements. The processing circuits are operated by advanced mining and processing management software to maximize recovery and minimize resource loss.

In 2021, despite being heavily affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Nui Phao Mining still sustains its core values: developing economics in pace with the community development and environmental protection. Also, promoting the implementation of mineral mining and processing model towards sustainability and enhancing the value of natural resources by adopting advanced technology. In addition, the Company has proactively taken a wide number of integrated and effective prevention and control measures to ensure the health for employees and expats so that they can feel assured to work for Company.

As one of the top enterprises in Thai Nguyen province, annually Nui Phao Mining always spends a vast amount of budget to support socio-economic development for the local community. Amid the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Thai Nguyen province in particular and nationwide in general, the Company has continuously joined hands with local government to beat COVID-19. Last June, the Company donated 1,000 cloth masks to the Provincial People's Committee and VND300 million to the Thai Nguyen COVID-19 prevention & control fund, the total amount of up to approximately VND1 billion. Although the production and business activities have been heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, during the first 6 months of 2021, the Company still ensured to fulfill its obligations by contributing VND 355 billion to the State budget. Thereby, it is significantly contributed to local socio-economic development.

During its operation, Nui Phao Mining has successfully met the selection criteria, to be an outstanding enterprise in the Top 30 excellent enterprises in Thai Nguyen province 2021, sound working capital, stable profit growth potential and performing good corporate social responsibility, environmental protection and social security activities. The award continues to affirm the Company's leading position in business performance and growth rate in Thai Nguyen province's economy in particular, contributing to the picture of technological transformation and innovation of Vietnam economy in general.
