Thai Nguyen is one of the first 5 localities completing documents of provincial planning

Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just chaired over the Conference of the Steering Committee for making plan of Thai Nguyen Province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, to review and evaluate the preparation for the planning. Mr. Le Quang Tien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and localities attended the conference.

According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment, up to now, the preparation of documents for has been basically completed. The appraisal dossier of provincial planning, the strategic environmental assessment report that has been reviewed for the first time by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, central ministries and branches and evaluated that satisfying all conditions to organize a national level conference to appraise the provincial Planning.

At the conference, Mr. Le Quang Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a summary report on Thai Nguyen provincial planning. The report consists of 4 parts: Analysis, assessment and forecast of specific factors and conditions of Thai Nguyen province; status of socio-economic development of the province; planning of Thai Nguyen province in the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; solutions and resources to implement the plan; strategic environmental assessment report.

Members of the Steering Committee and delegates have commented and proposed to amend and supplement a number of issues belong to their sectors. According to the consulting unit, due to the close direction of the provincial leaders, up to now, Thai Nguyen was one of the first 5 provinces in the country completing documents of provincial planning. After being appraised, the departments, branches and localities in the province could continue to edit, update and supplement the contents, ensuring the feasibility before submitting to the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Viet Hung requested departments, branches and localities to study, promptly report and edit relevant contents. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also highly appreciated the Steering Committee, consulting unit, departments, branches, districts and cities over the past year for upholding the sense of responsibility, providing adequate information to complete the provincial planning. He suggested the consulting unit, the Steering Committee to absorb the opinions of delegates as much as possible, promptly supplement and correct the provincial planning report before submitting it to the Central Appraisal Council; at the same time, leaders of departments, branches and localities need to study, promptly report and edit relevant contents, ensuring that after being approved, the planning can be deployed smoothly in their branches and localities.
