Recently, Thai Nguyen Youth Union, in collaboration with Ames English Center have held the provincial round of the English Olympiad in 2023. 20 most excellent candidates of the preliminary competition took part in this round.

The 5th contest, “National English Olympiad for students” was organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, with the companionship of the Ames English system.
In early May 2023, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union launched a contest for high school students and university students in the area. After 5 weeks of multiple-choice tests on the website, the province has nearly 30,000 students registered to participate, ranking 6th nationwide in the number of participated candidates.
The Organizing Committee has selected 20 excellent candidates to enter the provincial round. Here, the candidates took part in 2 parts, including multiple choice and rhetoric.
At the end of this round, the Organizing Committee awarded the first, second, third and consolation prizes to excellent candidates in 2 groups. The two candidates who won the first prizes at the provincial round will represent the province to participate in the national round in the coming time.
