Thai Nguyen commits to accompanying Lotte Group in implementing projects 

Mr Trinh Viet Hung, the Alternate Member of the Central Party Committee and the Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that at the meeting with Mr Sunghuyn Kang, Global CEO of the Lotte Group, and the members of the delegation, on the afternoon of March 25.

Lotte’s CEO delivered a speech at the meeting.

At the meeting, Mr Sunghuyn Kang expressed his positive impression of Thai Nguyen’s land and people, especially the province’s recent achievements in economic and social development. The CEO also briefly introduced Lotte Group and the sectors in which it operates globally and in Vietnam. He mentioned that Lotte Group hopes to receive the attention and cooperation of Thai Nguyen province to invest in a project, starting with a supermarket in the local area. Additionally, the group will continue to explore investment in other key sectors such as construction, real estate development, and commercial service complexes. 

In his speech, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Viet Hung emphasized that this is a highly anticipated meeting for the provincial leadership and the people of Thai Nguyen, who hope the Lotte supermarket project will soon be implemented. Thai Nguyen province is committed to accompanying and creating all the most favorable conditions for Lotte to carry out this important project.
