In his remarks, the Deputy Chairman highlighted the steadily growing cooperation between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea. Building on that foundation, the relationship between Thai Nguyen and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province has been maintained for more than 20 years, yielding many positive outcomes. Currently, Thai Nguyen hosts 235 FDI projects with a total registered capital of over USD 13 billion, with South Korean enterprises accounting for a significant share. In addition to its industrial strengths, Thai Nguyen also has strong potential for agricultural development, particularly in tea products. In the coming period, the province aims to attract investment in high technology, supporting industries, clean energy, and high-quality agriculture.

At the conference, businesses from both sides shared experiences and proposed cooperation in areas such as food processing, tourism, transport, design, and trade. A key highlight of the program was the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Thai Nguyen Women Entrepreneurs Association and the Gyeongbuk Chapter. The agreement aims to enhance investment promotion, support businesses, share management experience, and expand markets.

The conference is expected to serve as an important starting point, contributing to stronger, more effective, and sustainable cooperation between Thai Nguyen and South Korean partners.
