As the projects enter the final stage, while the storm and rainy season are approaching and weather conditions are forecast to be complicated, she urged relevant units to proactively develop appropriate response plans, minimize risks during construction, and prevent any incidents that could affect the works and surrounding areas.

She assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Construction to coordinate in advising the provincial authorities to report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and related agencies, to promptly seek support for upgrading the Cha and Ha Chau dike sections, ensuring long-term safety for key dike systems in the province ahead of this year’s rainy and flood season.
