Song Cong develops industrial clusters

On March 13, Song Cong city held a conference to implement the investment project to construct and operate infrastructure for the Song Cong II Industrial Park, Phase 2. Attending were leaders of the Provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks, Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company - the investor.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai on March 7 signed Decision No. 225/QD-TTg approving the investment policy for the phase 2 construction of infrastructure in Song Cong II Industrial Park in Thai Nguyen Province. The investor for the project is Viglacera Thai Nguyen Joint Stock Company.

On March 7, at the Hao Dat Tea Cooperative (Tan Cuong commune, Thai Nguyen City), the Department of Science and Technology led a working session with Professor Kubo Mutoki (from Ritsumeikan University, Japan) to examine and introduce the bio-solution SOFIX for soil improvement in tea cultivation.

Present in Thai Nguyen since 2013, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd. (SEVT) has consistently maintained its position as the most significant foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprise in the province, making significant contributions to the province's industrial production, exports, and budget revenue. Notably, the launch of Samsung's new Galaxy S24 smartphone has propelled Thai Nguyen to third position nationwide in export value in the first two months of 2024.

The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has recently decided to establish two industrial clusters in Dai Tu district.

A delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Ba Chinh, Director of Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade, recently visited and encouraged investors and contractors involved in the construction of infrastructure for the Bao Ly - Xuan Phuong industrial cluster and the Hanh Phuc - Xuan Phuong industrial cluster in Phu Binh district.
