From December 18th to 20th, the delegation of Luang Prabang city, Luang Prabang Province, Laos, led by Mr. Viengthong Hatsachanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Mayor of Luang Prabang City. Mr. Duong Van Luong, Secretary of Thai Nguyen City Party Committee welcomed and worked with the delegation. 

Recently, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation has chaired the meeting with the delegation of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, Korea, led by Mr. Lee Cheol Woo - Governor of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province. 

In 2022, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee issued Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU dated December 31, 2020, to implement digital transformation and achieved many results on all three pillars: digital government, digital economy and digital society.

Implementing the resolutions of the Central Committee and Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on digital transformation, especially in the field of education and training, Thai Nguyen University issued Resolution No. 07-NQ/DU on April 4th, 2021, on Digital Transformation in the period 2021-2025 and towards 2030.

On the afternoon of December 9, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting and worked with the delegation of the Australia - Vietnam Business Council (AVBC) led by Mr. Andrew Robb, former Minister of Australia's Trade and Investment surveying and researching investment projects in Thai Nguyen province.

Nearly 200 industrial mineral experts and fluorspar business leaders globally gathered in Hanoi from October 11-14 for the Fluorine Forum to examine and discuss the supply and demand from mine to market of fluorine mineral, an important mineral in the global high-tech industries. The forum participants highly appreciated the continuous improvement initiatives of Masan High-Tech Materials, a leading supplier of acid grade fluorspar, currently operating Nui Phao mine in Thai Nguyen, Vietnam.

Recently, in Dong Hy district, the Sub-department of Cultivation and Plant Protection under the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a conference to award certificates of export growing area codes to 10 cooperatives and enterprises in the area. These are the first area codes of Thai Nguyen province to be certified by the Plant Protection Department. 

On August 16, at Danko Thai Nguyen Trade Center, Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee held a training conference on improving the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in 2022. 

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Saturday chaired a national online conference linking 63 cities and provinces on developing the labor market in a flexible, modern, sustainable, and globally integrated manner. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam also attended the conference.
