Developing Tan Phu 1, 2 and Luong Son into model industrial clusters nationwide

On the morning of November 2, in Pho Yen city, Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee cooperated with Saigon Telecommunications Technology Joint Stock Company (SAIGONTEL) to organize the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Tan Phu 1, Tan Phu 2 and Luong Son industrial cluster.

Mr. Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, attended the ceremony. On the side of Thai Nguyen province, Mr. Trinh Viet Hung, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of departments, agencies, branches, localities attended the ceremony.

Tan Phu 1 and 2 industrial clusters are planned in Dong Cao and Tan Phu wards (Pho Yen city); Luong Son Industrial Cluster in Song Cong city is located in key economic regions of the North.

According to the plan, Tan Phu 1 Industrial Cluster larges 74.5 hectares and was invested over 486 billion VND. Tan Phu 2 Industrial Cluster has a scale of 56.5 hectares with a total investment of over 403 billion VND. Luong Son Industrial Cluster larges 30.4 hectares, with a total investment of more than 300 billion VND, all invested by SAIGONTEL.

With a convenient location, synchronous and modern investment in technical infrastructure, they will develop into green, smart logistics clusters and regionalize the supply chain; attracting investment projects with modern technology, creating high-added value, thereby bringing economic efficiency to investors and localities, creating jobs for thousands of people; contributing significantly to the economic growth target and improving the investment environment of the province.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan highly appreciated the results of Thai Nguyen province in all fields, especially the development of industry, trade, and services. He suggested that the province continues to direct the implementation of the management and development of industrial zones and clusters; review, amend, supplement or develop new policies to support investment in industrial infrastructure following local realities; strengthen investment promotion.

He expressed that the three industrial clusters will soon be completed, put into operation and become model industrial clusters nationwide.

Representative of SAIGONTEL signs a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with BW and VietinBank.

At the event, SAIGONTEL signed a contract with SEA LOGISTICS (SLP) - an industrial and logistics infrastructure developer, to build and develop ready-built factories (RBF) or ready-built warehouses (RBW) for lease. At the same time, SAIGONTEL signed a memorandum of understanding with its partners, BW and VietinBank.
